About Hirst Academy

Hirst Academy is a free online school for business and marketing. Every course is self-paced, and every module ends with a tool that turns the lesson into a plan you can use for your own work.

Who writes the courses

I'm Dr Andrew Hirst, and I teach marketing at the University of Derby. I've taught full time for seventeen years, after eight years in industry. I built the Academy so that anyone can learn the ideas my students learn, without fees or a timetable.

The courses aren't accredited and don't carry academic credit, but they are written to the standard I'd expect in my own classroom.
